Oil Burner Tune-Up and Service Call Prices
These are the two prices most homeowners call about, and they do not change with the season or with how long you have been a customer.
- Annual oil burner tune-up: $219. New nozzle, oil filter and pump strainer, a vacuum of the heating unit and smoke pipe, cleaned flue passages, adjustments and a safety test. The oil burner tune-up page lists every step.
- Extra vacuum of the chimney base and flue: $95, optional, and only recommended when the technician sees it is needed.
- Service call: $189 plus parts. The visit and the diagnosis are covered; each part is priced before it is installed. The parts repair and replacement page explains what rides on the truck.
- Gas furnace clean and tune: quoted when you book.
A service call is usually the better choice when the burner is down right now. A tune-up is the better choice when it is running and you want it to stay that way through the winter.
Emergency and After-Hours Pricing
The phone is answered 24 hours a day and a technician comes out the same day in most cases. Calls outside regular hours, weekends and holidays included, carry an additional charge on top of the $189 service call. The dispatcher quotes that charge on the phone, before the technician is sent, so the price is settled before the truck leaves.
When the outdoor temperature is below freezing, no-heat calls go ahead of other work on the schedule. The emergency heating repair page covers what counts as an emergency and the checks worth making before you call.
Boiler, Furnace and Burner Replacement Prices
Replacement estimates are free and carry no obligation. A technician looks at the system you have, measures the house and gives you a written price. When a repair is on the table too, you get both numbers side by side and the choice is yours.
- Oil and gas furnaces: the furnace replacement cost and furnace installation cost pages walk through what decides the price.
- Boilers: the boiler service and replacement page covers efficiency upgrades and full replacement.
- Burners: a new Beckett, Riello or Carlin burner on an existing boiler or furnace is explained on the burner assembly replacement page.
- Oil tanks: removal, replacement and abandonment are priced after a look at the tank, as the oil tank removal page explains.
- Standby generators: the home generator installation cost page has the details and the monthly financing option.
Financing is available on new equipment, and the old unit is removed as part of the job.
Heating Oil Delivery Prices
Heating oil is delivered by our sister company, Domino Fuel, on a COD basis with no contract. The per-gallon price changes with the market, so it is quoted when you order. The heating oil delivery page explains same-day and Sunday delivery and how to order.
If the tank ran dry, the burner will need to be bled and restarted once the oil arrives. That prime and start visit is quoted on the phone when you call.
No Service Contract, Same Price for Everyone
Domino does not sell service contracts or maintenance plans. Many Long Island oil companies reserve their best prices, or any service at all, for customers on a plan. Here the $219 tune-up and the $189 service call are the same for a first-time caller as for a customer of twenty years, and COD oil customers who buy from any supplier pay the same as everyone else.
You book a visit, pay for that visit, and nothing renews. Pay by cash or any major credit card when the work is done.
